Wayford

Despite its size, Wayford or Wayford Bridge as its often referred to has many facilities. There is a pub and restaurant (Wayford Bridge Inn), Vera's Tea Room, A. G. Meale Garden Centre, Day Boat hire and petrol station with newsagents. Vera's Tea Room is much more than its name suggests and offers excellent breakfasts and lunches. Wayford is on the A149 approximately 1.4 miles from Stalham and 6.2 miles from Wroxham. Passing through Wroxham on the A149 the city of Norwich is a further 7.8 miles (13 miles from the cottage). The nearest railway station is Wroxham (5.4 miles), or Norwich (14 miles) for major routes. The closest airport, Norwich International Airport is 14 miles. The nearest supermarket is Tesco's located in Stalham (1.5 miles), however Waitrose located in the market town of North Walsham will deliver.
