FAQ - What payment methods do you accept?

Information regarding what payment methods we accept and how to pay.

Payment Methods Accepted

We can only accept payments by the following methods:

1. Credit / debit cards online via our payment gateway on stayGB.com powered by Elavon (see card types accepted below);
2. BACS transfer (certain transactions only; payment details will be supplied by our payment gateway).

Please note that we do not take card payments by post (mail order) so please do not send card details by post or email. At no time will our operators ask you for your credit / debit card details.

We use the payment gateway services API provided by Elavon. This allows us to securely take your card payments online during which you supply your card details which pass from your browser directly to Elavon. We do not store your card details on our servers.

Card types accepted

We accept payments by VISA and Mastercard through our payment gateway. Payments are made in GBP, although making payments in US dollars or euros for some transactions is possible by request.

Small Payments

For small payments of less than 30 GBP where full customer authentication is not necessary we may use the Stripe payment gateway to collect payments.
